Job Description
Spot Welder Wanted in Essex Center, VT
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $22.50–$29.00 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Position and secure components accurately for spot welding.
- Set and adjust welding parameters, including heat levels, weld timing, and electrode tips, to ensure quality welds.
- Assemble subcomponents of varying sizes and complexity using different grades of steel, based on detailed specifications.
- Interpret work orders to identify required parts and complete spot welding tasks accordingly.
- Read and follow welding blueprints and technical drawings.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, along with measuring instruments such as voltmeters, calipers, and spot welding equipment.
- Demonstrate strong blueprint-reading skills to ensure precision and accuracy in fabrication.
