Job Description
Job Title: (First Shift) Machinist Location: Louisville, KY 40218 (100% Onsite) Duration: 12 Months (Temp to Hire) Pay rate: $22-$24/hour on W2 Job Description:
- We are looking for a Machinist to join our Louisville, KY team.
- The Machinist is responsible for setting up machines for Operators.
- This individual will also have experience reading drawings and manufacturing parts.
- Manufacture and inspect detailed parts from drawings using a variety of machining tools and equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, jig bores and other machining equipment).
- Being able to perform mathematical and geometrical calculations.
- Determine how to set up machines based on instructions received and perform minor repairs of equipment.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean and free from safety hazards and to maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level.
- Ability to read and interpret process worksheets, inspect parts, set-up, operate and maintain set-ups of machines, and maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
