Job Description
In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by producing high-quality machined components that support Honeywell's product reliability and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to manufacture precision parts.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements and specifications.
- Perform quality inspections on machined parts to ensure compliance with tolerances and standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot machine tools to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Document machining processes, measurements, and inspection results accurately.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience operating manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and equipment maintenance to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for machining tasks.
- Experience performing quality inspections and using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
WE VALUE
- Technical certification or diploma in machining or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in machining or manufacturing roles.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow established procedures.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
