NOW HIRING – MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Location: Dunbar, WVPay Rate: $17.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMPosition Type: Temporary to Permanent
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to help maintain housing units and property grounds. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who can work independently, respond to work orders, and assist with preparing units for incoming tenants.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare housing units for incoming tenants
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders
- Perform routine grounds maintenance throughout the year
- Assist with basic drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
- Use and maintain personal basic hand tools as required
- Maintain the safety and proper upkeep of property and equipment
- Communicate with supervisors regarding work orders and job status
- Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic experience with drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform hands-on physical labor in various environments
- Must be able to pass standard pre-employment screening
