Position: Maintenance Assistant (1 Full-time and 1 Part-time)
Wages: $20.00-$26.00
Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
- Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Assist in setting up rooms or equipment for special events or resident needs.
- Support snow removal, landscaping, and other seasonal maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with staff and residents to address maintenance concerns.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years' experience as Maintenance Assistant
- Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field required
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, Ambitious, Patient, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic .
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency maintenance as needed.
