Job Description
Maintenance Coordinator - supporting 700+ units ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance operations, turns and vendor relationships.
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact between maintenance staff, vendors, and residents, ensuring that all maintenance requests are promptly addressed and resolved.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and schedule all maintenance work orders and inspections for multiple properties.
- Communicate effectively with residents regarding maintenance requests and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
- Support the maintenance team in tracking inventory and ordering parts and supplies.
- Assist in preparing maintenance reports and budget forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist with emergency maintenance coordination as needed.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance coordination, property management, or related field preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in property management or related courses is a plus.
SKILLS:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision.
- Customer-service oriented mindset.
Requirements
- Prior experience in maintenance coordination or property management preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general repairs is a plus.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; experience with work order software beneficial.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on property locations.
