Job Description
Essential Functions of the Position
- First and foremost, you will be representing the Bryant Real Estate brand to our Property Owners, Vacation Renters, and Third-Party Vendors when they are working on our owner's homes - you must have top-level customer service skills and be a strong representation of our brand on the phone, over email, and in person.
- Responsible for creating work-orders, tracking invoices, and communicating with Maintenance Techs, Property Owners, Guests and Managers.
- The bulk of the work will revolve around receiving property maintenance issues and requests either over the phone or by email, dispatching a Maintenance Technician or referring the job to an outside vendor, and following up to ensure the issues are resolved and documented correctly.
- Ability to adapt to new and difficult situations is a must. A willingness to learn is necessary.
- Work to ensure owners' and tenants' needs are met and homes are maintained.
- Provide administrative support for in the field maintenance technicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- Ability to work effectively and in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
- Solid multi-tasking skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and data tracking.
- Willingness and ability to work holidays as the business requires (40 hours/week) including weekend work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance along with a positive attitude, be a team player and be willing to learn.
- Any technical knowledge of general home maintenance is a plus (basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, general mechanical and HVAC systems), but NOT required.
Physically you can anticipate to:
- Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
- Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
