Maintenance Electrical/Controls Technician

Loparex LLC is the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. We are currently looking for Maintenance Controls Technicians and 1st Class Electricians for our Malvern, PA site.

Union Shift Schedule*MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A ROTATING SWING SHIFT SCHEDULE* 2 weeks of Day shift (6a-6p), 2 weeks of Night shift (6p-6a), 2 weekends Off. Each workweek is 42 hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Understand and follow all applicable safety and environmental requirements.

2. Understand and follow parameters on work orders, schedules, and special instructions.

3. Maintain, repair and adjust electrical equipment including circuitry, manual & electronic controls, motors, inter-locking systems, heating controls, sensing devices, DC & AC drives.

4. Install electrical for all new equipment.

5. Document & maintain electrical modifications to equipment in schematic drawings.

6. Proficient with various PLC's and have the ability to maintain, troubleshoot and must be able to make program changes.

7. Trouble shoot and calibrate equipment.

8. Proficient with all machine drives such as Digital, Servos, Analog and VFD's.

9. Input information into the maintenance management systems and keep documents and records complete.

10. It is understood that this list of responsibilities is not all encompassing and that we are all expected to do any other duties that may be assigned to our jobs.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must act in a professional manner and have a positive work attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.

2. 2 to 4 years' experience as an Electronic Tech or equivalent electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

3. Must have education, electrical training, experience and initiative to work in a safe manner.

4. Physical ability to perform the required work including bending, climbing, stooping, handling heavy materials (50 lb. max.), and equipment components in and around the plant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Per Union contract, range $31.39 - $40.25 per hour, depending on experience
