Job Details:

The Maintenance Electrical Technician is tasked with conducting advanced troubleshooting and repair for machinery and systems, aiding engineering and plant personnel in specifying, installing, and altering integrated systems, and offering technical assistance across all operation stages. This role holds accountability for ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance. Proficiency in various skill sets is essential, encompassing expertise in electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Training beyond High School including either: Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include Skilled Trades programs or military training.

Experience: 4 plus years electrical mechanical experience and/or industrial maintenance experience; requires experience in electrical safety and lockout/tagout processes and procedures; experience in troubleshooting and operation of PLC systems and microprocessors.

Computer Skills: Competent in Windows-based software such as Microsoft Excel and Word; strong skills in documentation organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques. Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance.

Communication Skills: High level of verbal communication skills; must be capable of communicating well both verbally and in writing with all levels of Team Members from hourly to upper management as well as government officials and tech and vendors.

Special Skills: High level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to function effectively in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management and operations personnel; must demonstrate skills in the area of AC/DC circuits, industrial electrical systems, and knowledge in the theory and application of electronic devices; working knowledge and skills in tools and components used in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems such as bearings, gears, clutches, belts, and seals; ability to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems; parts inventory and recordkeeping for critical parts.

Travel: Minimum of 1-5 trips per year
