The role maintains electrical controls, motors, pumps, generators, switchgear, PLCs, relay logic systems, and electronic instrumentationKey Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of electrical equipment and components.
- Maintain and repair pumps, motors, generators, distribution equipment, automated controls, PLCs, and relay logic systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain high- and medium-voltage switchgear and related components with qualified staff.
- Calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic instrumentation and monitoring systems.
- 5+ years of experience as an electrician or electrical/instrumentation technician.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must successfully meet required job knowledge and skills assessments.
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving habits.
- Must hold an Electrician (EE) or Master Electrician (ME) License through the State of Kentucky or reciprocating state or have completed a state certified electrical apprenticeship.
- Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and instrumentation.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs, relay logic, motor controls, and automated systems.
- Experience with high- and medium-voltage switchgear and distribution equipment.
- Experience maintaining pumps, motors, generators, and electronic instrumentation.
- Formal journeyman-level electrical or instrumentation training.
