Equipment Operations Engineer
Reliability Engineer
Our client, an established and growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is seeking a Reliability Engineer to oversee their equipment and maintenance operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and refine maintenance strategies that extend equipment life and improve overall performance. Introduce predictive and preventive maintenance practices to detect potential issues before they disrupt operations. Conduct risk evaluations to anticipate reliability challenges and implement mitigation plans. Partner with suppliers and service providers to assess technical solutions and ensure consistent support quality. Design engineering fixes for recurring equipment problems, applying data-driven methods such as root cause analysis, reliability modeling, and Six Sigma. Work with production teams to evaluate asset utilization, equipment efficiency, and lifecycle costs. Provide technical guidance to maintenance staff and assist with commissioning of new installations. Apply cost-benefit analysis to repair/replace decisions to optimize resource use
Requirements:
Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or operations within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, oil monitoring, thermography). Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills. Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
