Job Description
A Maintenance Groundskeeper primary responsibility is to maintain the exterior of the hotel and the surrounding property as well as be responsible for ensuring that the hotel grounds are clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing for guest. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel grounds at all times
- Conduct light landscaping tasks such as trimming hedges and watering plants
- Responsible for ensuring the working and upkeep of tools and machines used in the maintenance process.
- Assist other members of the team and other departments to provide the greatest productivity for the department and hotel.
- Cleans all trash and cigarette butts from the grounds.
- Respond to guest requests, answer their questions, and address any issues or complaints that they may have had, all politely and courteously to satisfy the guests’ needs and preferences.
- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
- Snow removal and preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions by weatherproofing.

- Experience as a groundskeeper or similar role is a plus
