Summary
The Maintenance Manager oversees all facility maintenance activities, ensuring equipment and machinery operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role leads the maintenance team, drives continuous improvement, and supports operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate maintenance of all machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the maintenance team with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and morale.
Perform and oversee installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of production machinery and plant equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and technical documents.
Conduct emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, and machine adjustments.
Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Develop team members through coaching, training, evaluations, and corrective action.
Maintain training records and schedule required development programs.
Assist in budget planning and monitoring to meet financial targets.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead problem-solving for areas needing improvement.
Promote a positive work environment based on trust, communication, and teamwork.

Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting over 75 pounds.
Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
Work Schedule
Full-time, typically 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with weekend or overnight work as needed.
Travel is primarily local, with occasional out-of-area trips.
Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED with craft apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience.
4+ years in manufacturing maintenance with strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and some PLC experience; HVAC knowledge preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and apply instructions effectively.
Preferred: AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance; vacuum furnace experience.
