About the Role

Essity Health and Medical Solutions North America is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to work at our manufacturing facility in Dover, DE (Playtex Plant).

What You Will Do

• Accountable for managing the technical performance of high-speed production machinery and facility infrastructure equipment.
• Accountable for the implementation/execution of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and practices for manufacturing equipment.
• Direct technical resources (Process Engineers) toward evaluating machine performance trends in order to minimize scrap and increase production yields.
• Accountable for the development of maintenance programs and practices directed toward achieving improved equipment reliability.
• Accountable for participating in maintenance talent acquisition at both the hourly and salary level.
• Actively direct and develop technical resources to achieve increased effectiveness and efficiency for a win-win environment.
• Direct technical resources toward compliance and adherence of plant objectives and goals necessary to meet overall business goals.
• Direct capital and operational budget development for both short term and long term (5+ years).

Who You Are

• BS degree in Engineering.
• 10 or more years of experience in technical management in preferably in a high-speed manufacturing operation in the consumer products arena.
• Ability to lead/direct large teams to accomplish specific operational goals within tight budget and time constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop working relationships on all levels.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing tools and techniques.
• Experience in a cGMP compliant manufacturing environment.
• Experience with direct and/or indirect leadership of hourly colleagues
• Experience in machinery relocation and start-ups is a plus.
