The core responsibilities of this role include but not limited to: Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving industrial embroidery machines to support high quality production and ongoing research and development initiatives. This role combines mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with process development, testing, and continuous improvement responsibilities.
Position: Maintenance Mechanic: First (1st) Shift
Shift: 5:00am -; 1:30pm - Monday-Friday
Pay: $24.30 per hour
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
Embroidery Operation & Maintenance. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on multi-head embroidery machines (e.g. Barudan, SWF).
Clean and lubricate machine components including rotary hooks, needle bars, tension assemblies, and thread paths. Inspect needles, rotary hooks, bobbins, tensioners, and thread guides and replace them as needed. Ensure machines are threaded correctly and tensioned for optimal stitch quality and perform "h" test to confirm proper tension of upper thread and bobbin thread. Embroidery Troubleshooting & Repairs
Diagnose common embroidery issues such as thread breaks, bird nesting, flagging, looping, puckering, and registration errors.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and timing-related issues. Adjust hook timing, needle depth, presser foot height, and thread tension settings. Repair or replace defective parts including motors, belts, circuit boards, control panels, sensors, and trimmers.

Role Purpose:
Maintain and repair the warehouse vehicles including all forklift, trailers, conveyors and power equipment. Provide mechanical support, including diagnosis and solution, for a dedicated delivery system including preventative maintenance, major repairs, and accident repairs. Also responsible for the general maintenance of the building and facilities including water, heating, air conditioning, and electrical maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Schedule daily maintenance work.
- Perform all repairs on forklifts, conveyors, maintenance equipment and other warehouse power equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance programs on all machines and equipment to ensure service reliability.
- Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms for immediate maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance work performed both internally and externally is performed to company standards.
- Monitor vehicle condition and performance to ensure driver compliance of company driving policies.
- Manage parts inventory at the most economic level for efficient operation of the system.
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
- Maintain HVAC system.
- Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
- Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
- Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
- Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
- Answer security/alarm calls as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pass Department of Transportation exam
- Pass a mechanical aptitude test
- 2+ years of previous facility maintenance experience
- 6 months related experience
- 2-5 years equipment maintenance experience
- 1 year of fleet experience
