This role is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment and facility systems to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency. - Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery
- Maintain and repair equipment including:
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential failures before they occur
- Respond quickly to equipment downtime and perform root cause analysis to minimize recurrence
- Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols, including working with high-voltage battery manufacturing systems and hazardous materials
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (battery, chemical, automotive, or similar preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with industrial equipment, automation, or high-speed production lines
- Experience working in sheet metals with transfer press machinery is strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities preferred
- Forklift and/or crane certification is a plus

- * Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and respond to emergency breakdowns
- * Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, TPM experience a plus)
