Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, motors, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and related equipmentDiagnose equipment issues and identify root causes of mechanical failuresRepair or replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and measuring instrumentsRead and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsAdjust machine settings and operating parameters for optimal performanceSupport molding machine operations, including setup adjustments and troubleshootingRepair EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) and related automation componentsInstall and maintain conduit, wiring, copper piping, and PVC pipingUse testing equipment such as voltage/ohm meters, micrometers, calipers, and other precision toolsMaintain spare parts inventory and assist with ordering replacement componentsDocument maintenance activities in computerized maintenance systemsCoordinate with equipment vendors and service technicians when neededPromote workplace safety and maintain a clean, organized maintenance area

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experienceStrong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read electrical and mechanical drawingsExperience with preventive maintenance systems and maintenance documentationWorking knowledge of wiring, conduit, and industrial piping installationStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Experience

Plastic injection molding or automated manufacturing equipment experienceExposure to robotics or automated tooling systemsFamiliarity with continuous improvement practices
