Job Title

Maintenance Mechanic I - Evenings

Responsible for repair, installation and general upkeep of manufacturing machinery and/or facility. Works within a team environment to meet departmental goals and objectives. Maintains work area cleanliness.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, lubricants or filters, following a set schedule
• Perform facility maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, painting, replacing filters, painting, simple plumbing etc.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment using manual and power tools
• Partner with senior mechanics to repair more complex manufacturing or facility equipment
• Wears required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory

Job Requirements:

Education: • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Experience: • One (1) year relevant experience

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
• Basic math, computer and time-management skills
• Ability to self-direct work to complete project within defined time frame
• Knowledge of machine repair, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, mill-wright and/or general maintenance
• Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds

Target Hiring Range

: 21.50 - 25.00
