• Knowledgeable in basic hand tools and proper use.
• Knowledgeable of the proper inspection, removal, installation, and alignment, and lubrication of bearings, gears, belts, conveyors, and chains.
• Must be willing and able to work with heavy equipment when needed.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair the following:  electrical systems, hydraulic systems, various cylinders, valves, accumulators, and pumps.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.

• Minimum 1 - 3 years maintenance experience, preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and theoretical background in mechanical systems.
• Industrial mill, shredder, or mining experience preferred.
• Excellent written, organization, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize.
• Attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Problem-solving skills required. 
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to weld required.

Our scrap operations source, buy, process, and sell four distinct groups of commodity metals for use in the manufacture of new products:+ We recycle scrap steel and iron, which is sold primarily to domestic mills and foundries.+ We recycle non-ferrous metals, principally aluminum, copper, lead, and nickel-based steel and high temperature alloys.
