Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties

• * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on food processing equipment
• * Troubleshoot and repair seamers (Angelus preferred) and filling equipment
• * Conduct seam teardowns, inspections, and adjustments across various can sizes
• * Execute mechanical repairs and diagnose equipment failures
• * Perform welding, torch cutting, and fabrication work as needed
• * Troubleshoot basic electrical systems and components
• * Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
• * Maintain lubrication schedules and perform routine inspections
• * Ensure compliance with OSHA and plant safety standards
• * Complete maintenance documentation and required paperwork
• * Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• * Support additional maintenance tasks as assigned

Qualifications – Needed:

• * High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
• * Minimum 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or food processing
• * Strong experience with seamers and filling equipment
• * Background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• * Welding experience (required – torch and plasma cutting preferred)
• * Experience with power tools and pipefitting
• * Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
• * Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics
• * Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• * Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• * Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• * Proven ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
