Apartment Service Technician

Location: Ridge Estates - Jonesboro, AR

Key Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will:

Carry out all property maintenance duties, including service requests, pool care, landscaping, grounds care, and preventive maintenance on a daily basis.
Perform maintenance and repair work (major and routine) for apartments, supportive buildings, common areas, breezeways, irrigation systems, and grounds.
Complete service requests within one business day, except in extraordinary circumstances.
Handle turnkey work in vacant apartments, including debris removal, repairs, painting, lock & key rotation, and inspections.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked maintenance shop.
Be on call for 24-hour emergency maintenance service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Follow the Fair Housing Act and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

HVAC or EPA certification preferred (HVAC strongly encouraged).
Minimum 2 years of related maintenance experience in a multifamily environment.
Pool operation and maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of appliance repair, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, and a basic understanding of electricity, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, and irrigation systems.
Availability to work in an on-call capacity to meet our 24-hour routine maintenance guarantee.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and work in small areas.
Ability to reach overhead for extended periods due to overhead repair work.
