Job Description
Maintenance SupervisorSanta Teresa, NM Summary: Responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of machinery and equipment across all facilities. Ensures maintenance activities support production goals and leads a skilled maintenance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Review blueprints/manuals and collaborate with production to resolve equipment issues.
- Assist with purchasing, moving, and installing capital equipment.
- Maintain asset files (manuals, history, drawings, warranties).
- Manage special projects across facilities.
- Coordinate and negotiate with contractors and vendors.
- Order materials, tools, and equipment.
- Plan and track preventative maintenance activities.
- Prepare weekly maintenance crew schedules.
- Verify and approve labor records.
- Work with other supervisors to coordinate operations.
- Lead and train maintenance staff and contractors.
- Ensure safe work practices and adherence to standards.
- Promote teamwork and address performance or conflict issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; 6+ years related experience.
- Strong leadership, analytical, mechanical, and electrical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and perform basic math/algebra/geometry/trig.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to obtain/retain lift truck, overhead crane, aerial lift, and LOTO permits.
- General knowledge of metal stamping and facility equipment.
