Critical to the production process this position directs and assists employees to perform such duties ensuring production needs are met. Core Responsibilities

• Installs and completes preventative and predictive maintenance processes and procedures
• Utilizes standard fabrication procedures for equipment setup and repair
• Produces preventative maintenance schedules
• Responds and repairs to equipment breakdowns
• Works with operators and manufacturing representatives to troubleshoots and identifies equipment failures with corrective methods.
• Logs and records all maintenance repair and preventative procedures.
• Orders and inventories of necessary parts and equipment.
• Identifies safety hazards and communicates safety controls.
• Attends production meetings as needed and required
• Produces cost repair and estimates to management for approval.

Education/Training Work Experience

The position requires a minimum of at least eight (8) years of related experience in the field of maintenance and robotic repair in a manufacturing/production environment. Roll forming equipment repair is also required. Additional training and certification in maintenance repair of heavy machinery equipment is highly preferred; HS Diploma or equivalent.

Specialized Knowledge- Certificates & Licenses

• Equipment Knowledge & Skills- Knowledge of welding and steel-working process and equipment may include but not limited to cranes and rigging, forklifts Roll Forming machinery and applicable testing equipment; Robotic machinery and applicable testing equipment; all general and specialized tools required to maintain and repair production heavy machinery
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Reasoning Ability: Understand safe and proper operation of common machinery in a steel fabrication environment; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
