Job SummaryNorth Phoenix mid sized hotel is seeking a person skilled in carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, pool/spa maintenance and minor electrical.
We are looking for an individual that has an array of skills to do general maintenance at our hotel. This is a position for a self-motivated individual who can work at a brisk pace and can manage their day and tasks effectively. This is a full time position and working weekends are required. Great job for a retiree! Expected hours during the summer months (April through September is 6AM-2PM) and for the fall/winter (October through March is 7AM-3PM)
Responsibilities:
- This position will be inside hotel rooms, inside common areas of the hotel and outside on the grounds of the property
- Will perform work outdoors at the pool and spa area and parking lot lights as needed. some minor irrigation repairs may be necessary
- Work in hotel rooms, hotel public areas and back office areas repairing and replacing items as necessary
- Perform and provide exceptional quality work and services
- Perform work in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications:
- Flexible shift, 7AM-3 generally but can change as business dictates
- Must be able to work outdoors in hot/cold weather
- Able to lift, stand, carry tools and equipment
- Pull trash from around hotel, able to lift heavy weight up to head level
- Have some previous experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC pool/spa care and electrical work
- General maintenance and repair knowledge
- Lift, push, pull or move up to 75 lbs
- Walk extensively, ability to walk stairs
- Able to work as a team with a positive attitude

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
