Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician for a hotel property in Pascagoula, MS. This role is responsible for ensuring the property is well-maintained, safe, and fully operational for guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to excellent service.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel rooms, common areas, and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain grounds and exterior areas as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and managementQualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience required (hotel or property maintenance preferred)
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
