Maintenance Tech - La Quinta Inn & Suites - Ardmore

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team! The 71 room La Quinta Inn & Suites is located just off Highway 35 .  The La Quinta Inn & Suites is currently going through a renovation to convert to a Holiday Inn Express.   This is going to be an exciting transition and we are looking to fill this position. 

Drug screen and back ground check will be administered. 

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Be ready and quick with your knowledge and experience to ensure guest safety and comfort, and a safe environment that's critical to fellow associates
• Great team player / assisting with other departments
• Be on top of preventive maintenance to protect every aspect of the property, from hotel rooms and equipment to kitchen and laundry
• Keep operations running smoothly
• Respond swiftly and effectively to every emergency situation that arises during your shift.
• Help keep the mechanical areas safe, orderly, and clean and maintain legible, orderly records
• Cleaning the pool
• Previous Hotel / Apartment experience is a plus

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
