Maintenance Tech

One of our clients is currently seeking a maintenance technician for their facility located just outside of Omaha NE.  They are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join their team in a fast‑paced meat processing facility. This role keeps our production lines running safely and efficiently by performing equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, grinders, packaging machinery, refrigeration systems, and facility infrastructure
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule and document all work performed
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food‑processing compliance requirements
• Collaborate with production teams to identify recurring issues and recommend solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing, food processing, or a similar industrial environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics (a plus if you have certifications)
• Ability to work independently on the swing shift with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
