Maintenance Tech

Location: Bedford Park, IL Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $47.00 USD Hourly Description: One of our client is currently seeking a maintenance tech for their third shift for their facility near Midway Airport. They are a growing food manufacturing company committed to producing high-quality products with safety, efficiency, and innovation at the core of our operations. Our team thrives in a fast-paced environment where reliability and attention to detail make all the difference. The Role We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our third-shift team. This role is essential in keeping our production lines running smoothly, ensuring equipment reliability, and minimizing downtime during overnight operations. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs Ensure compliance with food safety, OSHA, and company safety standards Collaborate with production supervisors to prioritize maintenance needs Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance Qualifications 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems a plus Willingness to work overnight third shift and occasional weekends/holidays Strong commitment to safety and teamwork #JDP By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
