Maintenance Tech

Introduction

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to help maintain the safety, comfort, and overall appearance of our property. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance, preventative inspections, and repairs to ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and building systems operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff while working independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance throughout the property, including guest rooms, hallways, common areas, and building equipment

• Inspect, clean, and service equipment such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, lighting systems, and other facility components

• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guest-related service calls

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and equipment inventory

• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to ensure smooth daily hotel operations

• Follow safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and team members

• Support other facility improvement or repair projects as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or a related field

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience is a plus, but relevant maintenance experience from other industries is welcome

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
