Maintenance Technician Compensation and Hours: $30 an hour 1st & 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on conveyors, packaging, and production equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including electrical controls Support production by completing scheduled and unscheduled work orders Perform temporary repairs (welding or fabrication) to reduce downtime until permanent repairs are completed Assist with equipment installs, rebuilds, and plant improvement projects Fabricate or modify equipment components and perform millwright work Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, ammonia, boiler, and wastewater systems Document maintenance activities and updates using SAP / CMMS systems Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety guidelines Maintenance Technician Skills & Requirements 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment Strong mechanical, electrical, and control troubleshooting skills Experience working with PLCs and SCADA systems preferred Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics Basic knowledge of plumbing, metalworking, and general facilities maintenance Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment Willingness to train and support other maintenance associates
