Maintenance Technician 3Rd Shift

Phillips Staffing is now hiring for  3rd Shift Maintenance Technicians for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC! The Maintenance Technician role is primarily responsible for providing routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance for manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the die cast machine lubrication process
• Implements a preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.
• Provide equipment filter changes
• Understand the function of all die tooling micro switches on die cast tooling and be capable of checking
• these devices and wiring.
• Understand die cast machine cycles, operation and programming of auto ladles and reciprocators
• Furnace operation including fabrication of thermocouples
• Provide building and grounds maintenance
• Prepares and maintains all logs, charts, and other required documents for each piece of equipment. 
• Operates all material handling equipment required.
• Perform repairs on equipment as required. 
• Perform building and equipment audits 
• Coordinate and track preventative maintenance 
• Initiate and schedule repairs 
• Develop and implement continuous improvements 
• Maintain and track supplies 

Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ experience in one or more of the following categories: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and welding
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Team player with good attendance history
• Able to work without close supervision and ability to multi-task.
• Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.

Shift Schedule: 3rd ShiftPay: $18.00-20.00 DOE + $1.00 Shift Differential
