Youll work closely with your team to ensure that equipment, systems, and building components are safe, functional, and well-maintained.What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment, systems, and building components to ensure safe and efficient operations.*
- Maintaining a clean, organized production floor, and maintenance areas while supporting safety compliance.*
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas as needed.*
- Collecting and disposing of trash, recycling, and debris throughout the facility following company procedures.*
- Restocking janitorial and restroom supplies, and notifying supervisors when inventory is low.*
- Supporting spill cleanup, minor outdoor upkeep, and general housekeeping tasks as assigned.*
- Assisting with routine preventive maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.*
- Inspecting equipment and work areas to detect maintenance needs and safety concerns.*
- Replacing worn or damaged parts such as belts, filters, light fixtures, and minor hardware components.*
- Using hand and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks.*
- Responding promptly to maintenance work orders and documenting work completed.
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or maintenance certification is a plus.*
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.*
- Ability to operate common hand and power tools safely and effectively.*
- Prior forklift experience preferred.*
- Strong problem-solving skills with a dependable attitude and eagerness to learn.*
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.*
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks comfortably.*
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
