Brookside Properties is seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities in the Sellersburg, Indiana market. What You'll Do
- Complete maintenance service requests efficiently and professionally across multiple apartment communities
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents, including make-readies and unit turns
- Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and community amenities
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and curb appeal standards
- Assist with emergency repairs and participate in an on-call rotation as required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members
- Monitor maintenance supplies and assist with inventory management
- Travel between assigned communities as needed to support maintenance operations
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous maintenance experience required; multifamily or apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, or general building maintenance
- EPA Certification preferred (Type II or Universal)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to participate in an after-hours emergency maintenance on-call rotation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Basic hand tools preferred
