Job Description

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Maintenance Technician with a technology company. This is a 36+ month contract opportunity with our client located in West Greenwich, RI. This is an onsite position.Note: Working Schedule: 8AM - 5PMSummary: This role supports the Quality Control (QC) equipment group and is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a biotech environment, ensuring the procurement, validation, maintenance, and change control of QC equipment adheres to GMP/GDP standards.Responsibilities:

Execute routine work orders and interact with end customers and vendors to ensure reliable QC equipment support
Own and manage change controls for new and replacement QC equipment
Manage the procurement of new QC equipment
Work autonomously to lead cross-functional stakeholders in identifying end-user requirements, establishing validation requirements, and defining change control strategy
Monitor and troubleshoot analytical benchtop equipment
Lead projects and planning responsibilities to ensure on-time implementation of analytical instruments
Provide oversight of vendor preventative maintenance (PMs)
Create new assets and PM scheduling in Maximo
Obtain end-user requirements and vendor quotes for lifecycle replacement of equipment

Requirements:

Associate degree and 2 years of experience OR 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience
Experience with GMP/GDP (Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Documentation Practices)
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Must be able to work fully onsite
