Job Description

Adams Thermal Systems is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system.
  • Install, adjust, and maintain production equipment and support systems.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to maximize equipment performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and proper PPE usage.
  • Train and assist production employees with proper equipment operation when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Previous industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, pumps, and industrial production equipment preferred.
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying temperatures within a manufacturing environment.
Pay & Schedule
  • Starting at $27.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Full-time position.
  • 2nd shift (3PM-1AM) Shift deferential in pay as well
