Job Description

Our client, manufacturer of specialty mineral and chemical additives is seeking maintenance technicians to join their team.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: News Castle, DE

Pay Range: $25-$30 Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm

What’s the Job?

Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings.
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical problems. Observes machines in operation and uses diagnostic skills to locate and make repairs.
Conducts equipment repairs in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency.
Performs light fabrication and welding as needed.
Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner, and identifies opportunities for improvement.

What’s Needed?

High school graduate or GED equivalent with strong math skills.
Millwright experience
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
Forklift Certified or experience.
Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus.
