Maintenance Technician

Job Title : Maintenance Technician Location : Carson City, NV 89706 Duration : 6 Months Payrate : $25/hr on W2 Job Details: Maintains and repairs machinery such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Performs maintenance and repairs to physical structures of facility. " Reads and understands blue prints, schematics, and technical drawings. " Conducts tests to locate mechanical system malfunction. " Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. " Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. " Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. " Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. " Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. " Repairs or replaces defective parts. " Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. " Lubricates and cleans parts. " Uses machine tools in installation, maintenance or repair. " Starts devices to test their performance. Quals-- Qualifications Education and/or Experience " High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
