Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Merrick Place Apartments- Lexington, KY
Scheduled Hours: Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm, with an on-call rotation once per month
Pay Rate: $24-$26/hr (based on experience and qualifications), plus on-call bonuses, commissions and incentives
What You'll Do
- Keep our vibrant community running smoothly and looking its best
- Tackle daily repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and more
- Turn apartments quickly and beautifully for new residents
- Knock out work orders with speed, skill, and great customer service
- Maintain curb appeal and support seasonal grounds care
- Jump into action during on-call rotations to handle urgent needs
Bring Your Skills
- 1+ year of multi-family maintenance experience
- Strong turnover and general repair abilities
- HVAC experience
- Skilled in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, lighting, and grounds
- Friendly, service-focused attitude residents will appreciate
- Able to work independently, stay organized, and move with urgency
- Comfortable using smartphones and basic tech
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, insurance, and basic hand tools
- Willing to complete a drug and background check if offered the position
