Maintenance Technician - HOA/COA Communities

Location: Columbus Association District | Columbus, OH

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm + on-call rotation

Pay: $26-$30/hour (based on experience)

About the Role

This is a skilled, hands-on maintenance position supporting multiple HOA and COA communities across Central Ohio. You will work both independently and as part of a team to maintain common areas, buildings, and exterior structures.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working across multiple trades rather than routine unit turns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and service requests across multiple communities
  • Complete carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs
  • Repair gutters, downspouts, doors, gates, wood trim, siding, and exterior features
  • Work safely on ladders, roofs, and exterior structures
  • Respond to on-call emergencies as scheduled
  • Interact professionally with homeowners, Board members, and vendors
  • Prioritize work orders and manage time independently

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (property, facilities, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple locations
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and exterior maintenance
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (required for work travel)

Preferred (Not Required)

  • HOA, COA, or multifamily maintenance experience
