Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for completing apartment maintenance and repairs, ensuring units are move-in ready, and helping maintain the overall condition of the property. The ideal candidate will have general maintenance knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs.
- Paint apartments and complete touch-up work as needed.
- Repair and maintain refrigerators and other household appliances.
- Troubleshoot and clear clogged garbage disposals.
- Complete routine maintenance requests in occupied apartments.
- Assist with preparing vacant units for new residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Regularly climb stairs while carrying tools and materials.
Qualifications:
- General maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of appliance repair and troubleshooting.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and climb stairs frequently.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
This is a hands-on position that requires someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and enjoys solving maintenance issues while helping keep apartment homes in excellent condition.
