Our client, in McCook, NE, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations through equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: McCook, NEPay Range: $17.27 to $18.52/hour + $1.25/hour shift differential
What's the Job?
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns before they impact production.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status with supervisors and operators.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
What's Needed?
- Previous maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
