Position Summary

Perform work involving keeping machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; HVAC; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain buildings, walls, arches and other structures
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
• Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, siding, and other part of building structures and furnishings
• Maintains electrical supply lines, and distribution box's, trouble shooting existing facility electrical operations
• Will mow grass, weed and cut brush as assigned
• Safely operates and maintains tools and equipment
• Inspects equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects and reports findings

Qualifications

1. Clearances. State Police/FBI clearance per state regulation; Child Abuse Registry clearance; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.

2. Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Working Condition

1. Physical Demands: Requires vision, moderate to high level of physical activity to include sitting, standing walking, lifting/carrying up to 80 lbs.

2. Environmental Factors: Indoors/Outdoors, all weather-seasons.

3. Working Hours: Monday-Friday 10a-6pm
