Make Ready Tech - Denton, TX
Job Summary:
As a Make Ready Tech, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously prepare rental units for occupancy, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the established quality standards. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our tenants, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carry out general handyman and repair technician duties as required.
- Ensure prompt and accurate completion of service orders.
- Perform Make Ready tasks to ready units for new tenants.
- Conduct move-in/move-out orientations for new tenants.
- Assist in addressing punch list items as instructed.
- Aid in building activities per Manager's directives.
- Manage cleaning tasks, pressure washing, make ready's, warranty calls, and vendor meeting coordination.
- Walk and clean the common grounds, entrance, models / leasing office, picking up trash, cleaning the amenities area, replacing the trash bags from trash cans.
- Provide backup to groundskeeper duties and pool maintenance, including cleaning and upkeep of pool, clubhouse and common area amenities

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
Essential Functions:
- Reliable transportation that meets job responsibilities.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
- Maintain at least minimum car insurance required by Texas law.
- Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
- Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
- Lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
