Part-Time Mammography Technologist South of San Jose, CA Connected Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Part-Time Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) to join one of our trusted healthcare partners in San Jose, California. Position Overview The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality breast imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate diagnostic results. This part-time role offers flexibility while maintaining a meaningful impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols*
- Produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation*
- Prepare, position, and educate patients throughout the imaging process*
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation*
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines*
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members*
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues*
- Provide compassionate care and address patient concerns
Education & Certification Requirements
- Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field*
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography required*
- ARRT Mammography certification (ARRT-M) required*
- California state licensure required (or eligibility)*
- CPR/BLS certification required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in mammography or womens imaging*
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail*
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities*
- Ability to work independently and efficiently*
- Commitment to high-quality imaging standards
