Summary: The Web Systems Manager is responsible for the development, release, and maintenance of Internet, Intranet, and Extranet systems and services, supporting a wide range of content. The role collaborates with business leaders and IT groups to prioritize projects and optimize Internet technologies to support business strategies, improve communications, and enhance information access.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and release of Internet, Intranet, and Extranet systems.
  • Collaborate with key business leaders to align Internet technologies with business strategies.
  • Ensure integration and coordination of Internet and Web development activities across the enterprise.
  • Develop and maintain standards for project initiation, design, development, and support of Web systems.
  • Manage and prioritize numerous project requests from business units.
  • Mentor and manage supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff.
  • Serve as a project leader and subject matter expert on complex projects.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT and business work experience, including managing development and maintenance of systems across multiple platforms.
  • Experience with online relational database management systems, multimedia, Web applications development, and testing.
  • Proven leadership in middle management for Web systems operations and management functions.
  • Strong ability to influence and coordinate technology development outside IT departments.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
