The Manager, Oncology Global Medical Affairs supports the strategic objectives of the J&J Innovative Medicine Oncology Global Medical Affairs (GMAF) team. This individual will play a crucial role in partnering with the Strategy & Execution Lead and Global Medical Affairs Lead in designated oncology disease areas to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution of strategic imperatives in support of the Oncology GMAF team.
Key Responsibilities:
Generation of an Integrated Evidence Generation Plan that meets prioritized regional needs.
Provide medical affairs input into product development and lifecycle management.
Coordination of cross-functional strategy meetings, global and regional discussions, and scientific knowledge exchange forums within designated oncology disease areas.
Develop and execute publication strategies and global publication plans
Coordinate GMAF tactics, including advisory boards, steering committees, external engagement strategy, congress strategy, and development of key documents, including scientific communication platforms.
Prepare robust Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGP) that reflect prioritized global and regional needs.
Assist in the development of a robust medical affairs strategy planning process.
Represent the GMAF team at various cross-functional teams to provide scientific/medical perspectives.
Qualifications - External
A minimum of a BA/BS required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a medical, clinical, or scientific environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to contribute to projects while maintaining focus on long-term strategy. Global mindset with the ability to collaborate cross-culturally and cross-regionally.
Critical thinking, social skills, scientific curiosity, strong communication skills (both written and oral), and collaboration and teaming skills are required.
Approximately 20% travel, both domestic and international, may be required.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $113,000 to $195,000.
