Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and skilled Product Manager to join the Digital Acquisitions organization. This role will be responsible for crafting and executing on the digital strategy of applying for an American Express product. The successful candidate will have experience as a product manager building digital web and native mobile applications in an enterprise environment. This person will be expected to become an expert in the digital application experience and identify opportunities to enhance and modernize the user journeys while reducing duplicative experiences. The ultimate objective is to create a more consistent experience for our users while reducing technical overhead.

A key aspect of this role will be playing an active role in compliance and regulatory initiatives, ensuring our digital experiences meet applicable regulatory requirements and accessibility standards.

A strong product mindset with demonstrated ability to think end-to-end and advocate for users and customers
A digital expert with focus on the user and accessible design standards
An independent and strategic thinker who can connect long-term vision with near-term execution and measurable outcomes
Proven product management experience in an Agile environment, working closely with scrum and cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts, influence stakeholders, and align teams around shared goals
Experience working in a regulated environment, with knowledge of compliance, controls, data governance, and integrity processes, is a plus
