AMP is hiring a Manager, Corporate Finance reporting to the SVP, Finance. This position is based in Louisville, Colorado, with an expectation of working from AMP headquarters 2–3 days per week

Position Summary:

AMP is seeking a Manager, Corporate Finance to partner closely with the SVP, Finance and CFO on the company’s most important strategic, financing, and capital allocation decisions. This role will play a central part in shaping AMP's long-term growth strategy, capital planning, fundraising activities, and strategic transactions.

This position reports to the SVP, Finance and is based in Louisville, Colorado, with an expectation of working from AMP headquarters 2–3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Capital Planning

  • Own and maintain AMP's integrated long-range corporate financial model and capital plan
  • Develop scenario analyses and decision frameworks to support executive leadership and Board decision-making
  • Evaluate strategic growth initiatives, capital allocation opportunities, and investment priorities
  • Support development of corporate strategy through market analysis, competitive assessment, and business case evaluation

Corporate Fundraising & Board Engagement

  • Support equity, debt, and strategic fundraising initiatives from preparation through execution
  • Develop investor presentations, financial materials, and supporting analyses
  • Manage fundraising diligence processes, including coordination of data rooms and information requests
  • Help maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and strategic partners
  • Assist in preparing Board materials and strategic updates

Project Finance & Capital Markets

  • Support the structuring and execution of project financing transactions
  • Develop project-level financial models, financing structures, and capital stack analyses
  • Evaluate financing alternatives and optimize capital deployment strategies
  • Assist in managing relationships with lenders, financing partners, and external advisors

M&A and Strategic Initiatives

  • Evaluate acquisition, partnership, and strategic investment opportunities
  • Build valuation models and decision frameworks
  • Conduct market, competitive, and strategic analyses
  • Support diligence and transaction execution.

New Business Models & Growth Opportunities

  • Develop economic models and risk-return frameworks for new growth initiatives.
  • Assess financing requirements and capital strategies for strategic expansion opportunities
  • Support commercialization and scaling strategies for new business lines

Qualifications:

Required

  • 5-10 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, project finance, corporate development, corporate finance, consulting, or a similarly analytical role
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation experience.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital structure, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Innate intellectual curiosity (you are comfortable asking questions and taking the initiative to dig into variances).
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking prowess, with a keen ability to draw insights from raw data and deliver concise, actionable findings tailored to different management levels.

Preferred

  • Experience developing materials for investors, lenders, Board members, or executive leadership.
  • Experience in climate technology, industrial technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, renewable energy, or related sectors.
  • Transaction experience involving fundraising, project finance, M&A, structured finance, or strategic partnerships.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; Advanced degree like an MBA a plus

Salary & Compensation Information: $145,000 - $165,000 per year

Equity Grant:  The candidate selected for this role will be recommended for a stock option grant commensurate with the position and the candidate’s qualifications. 

Benefits Information:

  • Medical - The company covers up 78% to 100% of the premium for Cigna medical healthcare plans depending on the selection. Employees pay the difference in premium if they select a more expensive plan. Up to 75% for dependents.
