Join the power movement as Manager, Product Lifecycle Management

The PLM Manager will be a key member of the IT leadership team, responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of all Product Lifecycle Management systems and projects. This role will lead a team of technical experts, define the PLM roadmap, and ensure the successful delivery of PLM solutions that align with the company's engineering and business objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee and manage the entire portfolio of PLM projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated team of Teamcenter and AVEVA subject matter experts
  • Define and own the strategic roadmap for all PLM systems, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with future business needs
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other key business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective PLM solutions
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure the continuous improvement and optimization of PLM tools and processes
  • Establish and enforce PLM governance, standards, and best practices across the organization
  • Serve as the central hub between engineering, design, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient collaboration
  • Identifying opportunities to improve product development efficiency and reduce time-to-market

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active PLM implementation and/or administration of large scale PLM toolset (Teamcenter, PTC, Enovia/Solidworks, etc.)
  • Consultative/collaborative approach to internal customers
    • Customer service mindset
  • Process and data orientation
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of PLM processes, including change management, BOM management, and configuration

Bonus points for:

  • Direct experience implementing and/or administering TeamCenter/ Aveva
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role
  • ERP experience
  • MES experience
  • Digital thread/twin implementation experience
  • Leading without managing experience
  • Plan-to-manufacture 
  • Evolve to rapidly changing technology and business requirements

Must-have requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call
  • Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
