We’re hiring a Social Content & Community Manager to join KAYAK’s North America marketing team and help transform our social presence! You’ll partner with our internal teams to create platform-native content at scale, drive engagement, and build an active community. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Social Strategy and is a hybrid position based in Cambridge, MA.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the social content creation process from ideation to execution, ensuring all content is anchored in our pillars and delivering against marketing objectives.

  • Develop fresh, innovative ideas for both day-to-day content and larger social-first campaigns.

  • Translate ideas into stories. Concept and produce content with a strong POV on which format serves which idea and channel best.

  • Adapt KAYAK's unique brand voice and positioning to feel at home on each platform.

  • Be a natural on camera: comfortable filming, presenting, and producing content yourself, while also knowing how to translate ideas into clear scripts and creative briefs for the wider team.

  • Foster community: engage with followers, respond to cultural moments, and build community in a way that feels conversational and unscripted across comments, DMs, the FYP, and Reddit.

  • Assist with monthly reporting and analytics to measure progress and optimize future content decisions.

  • A sharp editorial instinct for transforming information and ideas into compelling content. Whether it's a product launch, a travel trend, or a company announcement, you know how to find the hook that makes it land on social.

  • Experience in content production: You’re comfortable behind and in front of the camera, with an understanding of how to bring an idea from concept to a polished, publish-ready asset.

  • A demonstrable track record of developing unexpected and effective content ideas that people share organically, not just content that checks a box.

  • A strong, diverse portfolio of high performing social media work.

  • Deeply embedded in internet culture. Fluency in culture, trends, and using social media to fuel conversation.

  • Passionate and effective storyteller that can easily adapt ideas across social channels.

  • Experience engaging with audiences reactively and proactively in a way that feels natural and conversational.

  • Strong familiarity with in-app creator tools across social platforms and knowledge of video production tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro) and basic graphic design principles.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Massachusetts based role is $110,000 - $120,000.00.

This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.
